Due to its central location right on Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains such as the impressive Mount Pilatus, Mt. Rigi – Queen of the mountains, or Mount Titlis at 3020 m/10’000 ft high, Lucerne is considered to be the «Switzerland in Switzerland». We recommend you explore one of the mentioned mountains. 3rd day
From Lucerne you travel by train via Goschenen to Andermatt to catch the famour Glacier Express "the slowest express train in the world", which connects Zermatt and St. Moritz. A 3 hour panoramic railway journeying a beautiful route between the sights of the Graubunden holiday region. Upon arrival in St Moritz, make your way to your hotel. Overnight in St. Moritz.
4th day
Free day in St Moritz. St. Moritz which is one of the most famous holiday resorts in the world and its name is synonymous with quality and elegance. Find out all that St Moritz is known for today, why its name is copyright protected, how it developed from its humble beginnings with pilgrims visiting its mineral sources until it became the modern centre for sports competitions and extravaganza as we know it today.
A Visitors Card is supplied that is a travel pass for the mountain transport facilities, buses, and entitling the holder to a great many discounts. A=The red trains of the Rhaetian Railway swiftly transport St Moritz's visitors to the surrounding attractions: the ski regions of Diavolezza and Lagalp, the National Park in the Lower engadine, by Bernina Express to the Mediterranean Puschlav.

This morning you board the Wilhelm Tell Express, connecting two of Switzerlands prettiest cantons, Ticino and Central Switzerland. It combines both train travel and a paddle steamer cruise on Lake Lucerne. The Wilhelm Tell operates between May and October only. Board the comfort of a 1st class panorama train and enjoy a wonderful journey through the Leventina Valley before entering the Gotthard tunnel. The Reuss Valley offers a ride through the steep ravines and precipitous cliffs. Countless spiral and horseshoe tunnels, galleries and bridges testify to the remarkable achievements of the men who built this masterpiece of civil engineering. In Fluelenstep off the train and board the waiting paddle steamer and enjoy an excellent meal while tuckering along the impressive and historic coastline of Lake Lucerne.
